Osteopathy can be a valuable complement to conventional medical diagnosis and treatment for many conditions – particularly when symptoms need to be assessed holistically.
This is because, in osteopathy, the body is not viewed in isolation in terms of individual symptoms, but as a functional whole. That is why I take the time to carefully assess your symptoms, your personal medical history and any possible physical interrelationships.
Treatment involves manual techniques and is tailored individually to your symptoms and your current condition. My aim is to identify mobility, tension and stress patterns, and to support the body’s natural regulatory processes with gentle, targeted manual techniques.
You can book appointments directly via Doctolib, by email or by telephone. Osteopathic treatment takes place at the ‘Fachärzte am Ufer’ group practice at Tempelhofer Ufer 16A, 10963 Berlin-Kreuzberg.

Osteopathy often views symptoms as the result of functional interrelationships. Pain or restricted movement may sometimes manifest in one area, whilst the underlying causes may lie in another part of the body. For this reason, osteopathic treatment does not merely focus on the local area, but takes the whole body into account.
Factors such as the musculoskeletal system, the nervous system, the organ systems, tissue tension, scarring, previous injuries, operations or long-standing patterns of strain may all play a role. These interrelationships are taken into account during treatment and addressed using manual techniques.
I work according to the fundamental osteopathic principle that different body systems are interconnected and can influence one another. For this reason, in my treatment I always consider the craniosacral system, the visceral system and the parietal system in relation to one another.
Craniosacral osteopathy deals, amongst other things, with the nervous system, the skull, the spine and the sacrum. It focuses on subtle tensions, movement patterns and functional interrelationships that can affect well-being and the body’s regulatory functions.
Visceral osteopathy examines the organ systems and the mobility of the internal organs in relation to surrounding structures. Tension, scar tissue or functional restrictions can spread to other areas of the body and are therefore taken into account during the examination.
Parietal osteopathy focuses on the musculoskeletal system: muscles, joints, fascia, ligaments and bones. The aim is to identify restrictions in movement, muscular tension and functional strain patterns, and to treat them manually.
A session usually lasts between 45 and 55 minutes. Every osteopathic session begins with a detailed consultation. This focuses on your current symptoms, your medical history, previous illnesses, accidents, operations and other factors that may be relevant to the overall picture.
This is followed by a physical examination. This usually takes place whilst you are in your underwear, but can also be carried out in sportswear if you prefer. During this, I pay attention to, amongst other things, posture, symmetry, body structure, scars, skin changes and noticeable patterns of tension.
Building on this, an osteopathic examination of the entire body and its various systems is carried out. The subsequent treatment is tailored individually to the findings.
The costs for osteopathic treatment are as follows:
Initial consultation and follow-up treatments:
45–55 minutes | 110 €
