Focused and radial shock wave therapy

We offer focused and radial shock wave therapy in our private practice in Berlin-Kreuzberg. This gentle treatment method can significantly alleviate medical conditions of the musculoskeletal system in the majority of our patients. Use cases include:

  • Calcified shoulder
  • Heel spur & heel pain
  • Tendon irritation and overload (i.e. golf arm, tennis elbow)
  • Knee pain
  • Bursitis on the hip joint
  • Delayed fracture healing

The shock waves penetrate skin and elastic tissue such as muscles and fat without injuring them. They only release their energy when they encounter firm resistance. For example, the shock waves shatter calcifications or kidney stones. Most of our patients already feel a noticeable pain relief after just three to five treatments, which take only 10 minutes each.

Shock wave therapy for private patients and self-payers

Shock wave therapy is an “individual health service” (IGeL) that is usually only paid for by private health insurances. Therefore, the treatment is aimed at private patients and self-payers.
